How do I redeem my Fold Bitcoin Gift Card?

To redeem your Fold Bitcoin Gift Card, you’ll need the Fold app installed and an active Fold account
    1. Open the Fold app and go to the Gift Card tab.
    2. Tap Bitcoin Gift Card at the top of the screen.
    3. Enter your card number and PIN, then tap Continue.
    4. Reviewing the transaction details, then tap Redeem.
    5. On confirmation screen, tap Done.

Your bitcoin will appear in the Bitcoin tab within a few moments.

Can I withdraw to an external wallet?

After redemption, and once your Fold bitcoin balance updates, you can send your bitcoin to any on-chain bitcoin address. Fold bitcoin gift cards are only redeemable within the Fold App and require a verified account.

Do fees apply?

Gift card balances may be applied toward processing fees at the time of redemption. Processing fees are subject to change and may vary depending on the products or services selected.

What if I can't create a Fold account?

If you're unable to complete your account registration and redeem your gift card for bitcoin, you can still claim your funds in USD. Learn more.
